YOU GET CHANGE...?"

YOU GET CHANGE...?

4:35pm-19th February, 2013

Am so sure this word would have been used a thousand times more in our daily transactions from paying the conductor in the bus, to the purchases we make at the Supermarket, to the pepper seller, the meat seller and all those who sell one thing or the other.

As long as you make a purchase and you pay for the goods with a higher denomination of cash note that exceeds the amount you are paying for the goods purchased, you will always ask for a change i.e the remainder or difference of what you paid for.

Just today, I bought myself a new pair of Sun Shade and after negotiating on a price favourable to my pocket and to the seller (I guess) i made payment but needed to collect my change and he din't have it so he went around asking from fellow traders and colleagues "YOU GET CHANGE?". That word just stuck on me and for a moment I just couldn't help but think on those three words -YOU GET CHANGE?

For a while I thought more on it even after I've left where I bought my Sun Shade (And hey it's a cool Sun Shade guess that's why I paid more for it compare to the regular one's I buy).

"YOU GET CHANGE?" To me its more of a life's question than a word used in business transaction or market place transactions. Its a question of content (the ability within) to carry out a Change, to leave the Status quo, to leave the comfort zone, to be better than you currently are, to move from the state of despire to a state of repair and to be all you can be.

Do you have what it takes to make a change? That's the question that I keep hearing each time some one use the word "You get change?" I know I can make a change a change from the inside and a change from the outside. Guess that's why am in this Country, guess that's why am in my Family, guess that's why I have the people I have around me, guess that's why am here on Earth to make that Change.

So I ask "YOU GET CHANGE?"
